Logistics for all tests
(Unless otherwise stated on the schedule)
Adult: For dogs over two years of age on 1st January in the year of the test
GSP Club Field Trial Standing Instructions apply where appropriate. No collars of any type may be worn by dogs whilst running.
The German Shorthaired Pointer Club feels that Pointing Tests are an invaluable opportunity for handlers and their dogs to gain experience working on game on open ground in ideal conditions, without the pressure often attached to field trials. In order to encourage participation in Pointing Tests, the Club will award annually a trophy to a member whose GSP dog has shown the most consistency during the season in achieving gradings in the Club’s tests. Junior and Adult dogs will qualify equally for the award, which will be given on a points basis of Excellent, Very Good, and Good gradings. Points must be gained in two or more tests during that season. Only GSPC members with GSPs are eligible.
Neither the GSP Club nor the hosts of any meeting will accept liability for any accident, damage, illness, or injury to dogs, owners, handlers, spectators, or any other person or property whatsoever.
The GSP Club reserves the right to refuse an entry without stating a reason. The making of an entry constitutes acceptance of the GSP Club Field Trial Standing Instructions.
Successful applicants after the draw should pay the entry fee by BACS using your surname/HPR GPT as payment reference within 48 hours to secure your run or your place will be offered to reserves. Account Name: The German Shorthaired Pointer Club – Club Account, Account No 93837416, sort code 20-43-63.
